Pre-measurement bicycle calibration
Choose the actual number of digits on your counter. This matters when the counter rolls through zero.
Five significant figures means, for example, 11,923.5009 becomes 11,924 — it is not rounded to a multiple of 5 counts.
Temperature is recorded only. The app does not apply a temperature formula to bicycle counts. The raw calibration constant is counts/km before SCPF. The working constant includes the selected SCPF; the rounded value is the field constant used for kilometre/mile target counts. During measurement the app shows both official SCPF distance and raw calibrated physical distance so the two cannot be confused.

Course measurement

Filled from GPS altitude when the phone supplies it; it can also be entered or corrected manually.
Optional. In the field, simply take the photograph and move on. You can annotate it later at home; the original unannotated image is retained. The annotation tools include a green start line.

The official field distance uses the working constant including SCPF. The raw calibrated distance is a diagnostic physical-distance check before SCPF. Marker counter readings are the readings to aim for at the end of the current kilometre and mile.

Certification report details
These fields follow the information requested in the AIMS / World Athletics standard report forms. They also make the report suitable for a detailed AUKCM submission. Details such as the county and straight-line start/finish separation can be completed after the field measurement. Leave genuinely non-applicable items marked N/A rather than silently omitting them.
Application for certification
This remains editable after the measurement. You may enter the value manually or calculate an approximate straight-line value from the recorded GPS coordinates.

Course map and report photographs
The map should define the route, road names, available road width/restrictions, start, finish and any turnaround points clearly enough for another measurer to reproduce the course.
Save, check and export
The PDF button downloads the report directly as a PDF file and does not open the print screen. Version 1.19 keeps the established measurement calculations unchanged but gives the PDF a slicker and more professional appearance, with a stronger cover page, refined section headers, cleaner tables and clearer image presentation. JSON is the safest backup because it includes maps and photographs. Browser storage can be cleared by the phone, so export a JSON backup after fieldwork.
